Taylor Petrunich BS IBCLC

Taylor is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant as well as a birth and postpartum doula. She obtained her degree in Maternal Child Health with a specialization in Human Lactation from Union Institute and University, which lead her to become a professionally trained doula with Purple Lotus Doulas. Taylor is passionate about maternal child health and serving the mother-baby dyad throughout all stages. As a mother of two (soon to be three,) she has experienced the intense transformation, beauty, and struggle that ensues on the journey from maiden to mother. She believes that while breastfeeding is the natural, physiological successor to pregnancy, our modern society can make it feel like the most unnatural, complicated way to feed our babies. Taylor knows that breastfeeding and breastfeeding goals look different for every family and strives to support women in an evidence-based and personalized way. In her spare time, Taylor enjoys spending time with her family outdoors, hiking, baking, and reading.
